At SKLNSMOTKEY, we strive to provide exceptional monkey performances and customer satisfaction. We understand that circumstances may arise that require cancellation or changes to your booking. This Refund Policy outlines our procedures for refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling for different types of bookings.
Please read this policy carefully before making a booking. By booking our services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
1. Satisfaction Guarantee
SKLNSMOTKEY offers a satisfaction guarantee on all our performances. If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of our show for reasons within our control, we will work with you to find an appropriate resolution, which may include a partial or full refund at our discretion.
This guarantee applies to both public shows and private event bookings.
2. Public Show Ticket Refunds
2.1 Cancellation by Customer
For tickets to our public performances, the following refund policy applies:
- More than 14 days before the show: Full refund minus a €5 per ticket administrative fee
- 7-14 days before the show: 75% refund of the ticket price
- 3-6 days before the show: 50% refund of the ticket price
- Less than 3 days before the show: No refund available
2.2 Ticket Transfers
If you are unable to attend a show, you may transfer your tickets to another person at no additional cost. Please notify us of the name change at least 24 hours before the performance.
2.3 Show Rescheduling
You may also choose to exchange your tickets for another scheduled show date, subject to availability. The following terms apply:
- More than 7 days before the original show: Free rescheduling to any available date
- 3-7 days before the original show: Rescheduling available with a €3 per ticket fee
- Less than 3 days before the original show: Rescheduling available with a €5 per ticket fee
3. Private Event Booking Refunds
3.1 Cancellation by Customer
For private event bookings (corporate events, birthday parties, special occasions), the following refund policy applies:
- More than 60 days before the event: Full refund of the deposit
- 30-60 days before the event: 75% refund of the deposit
- 15-29 days before the event: 50% refund of the deposit
- 7-14 days before the event: 25% refund of the deposit
- Less than 7 days before the event: No refund of the deposit
Any balance payments made beyond the deposit will be fully refunded if cancellation occurs before the final payment due date (typically 14 days before the event).
3.2 Event Rescheduling
We understand that circumstances may require you to reschedule your event. Our rescheduling policy for private events is as follows:
- More than 30 days before the event: One free rescheduling to any available date within 6 months of the original date
- 15-30 days before the event: Rescheduling available with a fee of 10% of the total booking value
- 7-14 days before the event: Rescheduling available with a fee of 25% of the total booking value
- Less than 7 days before the event: Rescheduling may be possible with a fee of 50% of the total booking value, subject to availability
All rescheduling is subject to availability. If the new date falls in a different pricing season or requires different services, additional fees may apply.
4. Educational Program Refunds
4.1 Cancellation by Educational Institution
For educational program bookings, we offer the following refund policy:
- More than 30 days before the program: Full refund of any payments made
- 15-30 days before the program: 90% refund of payments made
- 7-14 days before the program: 75% refund of payments made
- 3-6 days before the program: 50% refund of payments made
- Less than 3 days before the program: No refund available
4.2 Educational Program Rescheduling
We offer more flexible rescheduling terms for educational institutions:
- More than 14 days before the program: Free rescheduling to any available date within the same school year
- 7-14 days before the program: Free rescheduling with selection from limited available dates
- Less than 7 days before the program: Rescheduling available with a fee of €50, subject to availability
5. Cancellation by SKLNSMOTKEY
In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel or reschedule a performance due to:
- Animal welfare concerns
- Performer illness or injury
- Extreme weather conditions that would affect animal or human safety
- Other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
In the event that SKLNSMOTKEY cancels a performance, you will be offered the following options:
- Full Refund: 100% refund of all payments made
- Rescheduling: Priority booking for an alternative date at no additional cost
- Credit: A credit voucher for 110% of the booking value, valid for 12 months
If we need to cancel a performance while it is already in progress due to unforeseen circumstances (such as sudden weather changes or animal health concerns), the following will apply:
- If less than 50% of the performance has been completed: Full refund or free rescheduling
- If more than 50% of the performance has been completed: 50% refund or discounted rescheduling
6. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party. Such causes include, but are not limited to: natural disaster, epidemic, pandemic, government action, war, civil unrest, terrorist attack, fire, or industrial dispute.
In the event of a Force Majeure occurrence:
- We will contact you as soon as possible to notify you of the situation
- All bookings affected will be eligible for rescheduling at no additional cost
- If rescheduling is not possible or desired, we will issue a credit valid for 18 months
- If neither rescheduling nor credit is suitable, we will discuss refund options on a case-by-case basis
7. How to Request a Refund
Refund Request Process:
- Contact Customer Service: Reach out to us via email at bookings@sklnsmotkey.com, by phone at +442588284097, or through the "Contact" section on our website.
- Provide Booking Details: Include your booking reference number, the date of the performance, and the reason for your refund request.
- Review: Our customer service team will review your request and may ask for additional information if needed.
- Resolution: We will process your refund or offer an appropriate solution within 5-7 business days of receiving your complete request.
Please note that all refunds will be processed using the original payment method used for the booking. Refunds typically appear in your account within 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider's policies.
8. Special Circumstances
We understand that special circumstances may arise that are not covered by our standard refund policy. In cases of:
- Medical emergencies (with documentation)
- Bereavement
- Natural disasters affecting your travel
- Other significant unforeseen events
Please contact us as soon as possible, and we will work with you to find a fair solution, which may include special refund arrangements, priority rescheduling, or extended credit options.
9. Gift Certificates and Promotional Offers
9.1 Gift Certificates
Gift certificates for our performances have the following terms:
- Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Non-refundable once purchased
- May be transferred to another person
- Cannot be redeemed for cash
- May be extended for an additional 3 months upon request (before expiration)
9.2 Promotional Offers and Discounts
Tickets or bookings purchased with promotional codes or special discounts:
- May be subject to different refund terms as specified in the promotion
- Generally, the refundable amount will be based on the actual amount paid after discounts
- May have more restrictive cancellation policies as noted in the promotional terms
10. Media Production Bookings
For media production bookings (film, television, advertising), specialized refund terms apply due to the complex nature of these arrangements:
- All media production bookings require a non-refundable booking fee of 20% of the total cost
- Cancellation more than 30 days before: 80% refund of remaining balance (after booking fee)
- Cancellation 15-30 days before: 50% refund of remaining balance
- Cancellation less than 15 days before: No refund available

11. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this Refund Policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
